Pitch MOD is a free MIDI FX for Logic Pro that adds Pitch Glide/Modulation to any sound.
This effect is used by R&B, Gospel and Neo-Soul producers the world over and should be a part of your arsenal too!
Whilst there's many ways to achieve this sound: manually riding the pitch-bend wheel or through a pitch assigned envelope, Pitch MOD makes it quick and easy.
I initially made the preset for my personal use to add to my chord progressions, but decided to share it here too. While it may not offer the depth of control available in synthesisers like Xfer's Serum or Gospel Musician's Glide, it delivers about 90% of the results. Good enough in a pinch. And free.
